Numberless AMEX-10 VARIO seals can be connected to an endless unit by choice for DN of 500 up to 4000

Setup & Function

The AMEX®-10 VARIO seal is based on the sealing principle of the AMEX®-10 MONO seal. With the VARIO seal, any number of seals can be put together to form a unit of any length. Each AMEX®-10 VARIO seal is secured by a form-locking interlock with the next seal. Thus, an offset of the seals against each other is rendered impossible.

The VARIO system always ends with a MONO seal in widths between 260 mm and 500 mm. The possibility of combination with all components of the AMEX-10 leads to a high flexibility in assembly.

Application Area

The AMEX-10 VARIO seal can be used for DN of DN 500 to DN 4000 for sealing of any wide defects, sleeves or as corrosion protection. The material of the host pipe is not relevant.

Usage Options
Assembly as a hose system where no CIPP or other Liner-types can be installed
Variable-length installation across defects or sleeves of any width
Corrosion protection of entire pipe systems against aggressive media

Benefits
Variable installation design permits implementation of any installation lengths
Mounting even in case of changed or deviating installation conditions on site
Absolute fluid density from interlocking with other sealing systems
Flexible and short assembly dates due to the combination options with the standard system

Pressure Range

Generally, the AMEX®-10 VARIO seal is designed for an operating inner pressure of 25 bar and an outer pressure of 8 bar. At a higher operating pressure, there is the option to re-enforce the seal with textile yarns.
In case of groundwater (infiltration) or vacuum, the use of additional tension bands can permit safe use of the AMEX®-10 VARIO seal.
